OUR EFFORTS

PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO EXCEL

Our primary service is “CANership”, a twelve-week program that matches each mentee with two mentors. The approach is equal parts career guidance and interpersonal training. The goal is to get mentees focused on what they want to do and help them see what that might look like. Each team has a strategic plan to match the mentee’s needs and goals. Learn more here…

CAN gives members the opportunity to further their careers through internship and job referrals, ad-hoc college and career advice, resume review, mock interview practice and informational interviews.    

CAN provides professional development for members by hosting various educational workshops, career panels, informational sessions and networking events to help our members understand different college and career options and develop a solid professional network.

There is also personal development with different fun social events and civic engagement activities members can attend throughout the year to help  become contributing individuals and make a difference in the civic life of their community.
